The leaders of different investments each gave short five-minute presentations on their mahi (work), detailing the exciting science, the structure of their team, their key performance indicators, the connections they have with other strategic outcomes and themes, and their ambitions for the future.
Following the presentations, at regular intervals attendees split up into smaller break-out groups, giving them a chance to take a deeper dive into the presentations, and ideas they had for collaborations moving forward.
The wānanga provided a very useful opportunity for researchers across the Challenge and Ngā Rākau Taketake to learn more about all the work that is taking place, and identify areas where connections could be strengthened between different investment areas.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to attend the wānanga, and to the BioHeritage support team for all their mahi in organizing it.
