Oranga Programme - Values Based Measurement (Kauri and Tohorā Metaphors)

February 2022

The Oranga Theme is a multi-year research programme comprising of five projects with the primary purpose of promoting kauri and myrtle ora, while highlighting Māori-led innovation in the biosecurity space. These five projects embody the kaupapa Māori guiding principles proposed by Graham Smith, which inform the collective work and the process for implementing a measurement framework.

The purpose of this recording is to outline our understanding of these kaupapa Māori principles, how they can be implemented in research, and how they can demonstrate research impact.
