This Master’s thesis research engaged with dog walkers to examine their experiences and practices within the kauri landscape. The aim of this approach was to ascertain what these dog owners value about kauri forests, how they behaved in these spaces, and lastly, their perspectives on biosecurity measures in stopping the spread of kauri dieback.
