Catherine in a Canada Research Chair and Assistant Professor in Freshwater Restoration Ecology at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research, University of Windsor, in Ontario, Canada. She currently directs the Healthy Headwaters Lab.
Catherine has a PhD in Ecology & Environmental Studies, a background in freshwater ecology and extensive experience working with indigenous and local farming communities.
She was formerly a project co-leader in the Challenge (with a focus on stream restoration) at the University of Canterbury – Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha.
