Professor Joshua Viers is a watershed engineer with expertise in resource management and environmental decision-making.
He is UC Merced’s Director of the Centre for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society, which promotes collaborative research on California’s environmental and societal problems.
He is also the co-Director of the University of California Water Security and Sustainability Research Initiative and a member of the University of California’s Agriculture and Natural Resources Governing Council.
